Run Jen Run 5K
Stride City Run Club showed up together for Run Jen Run, a Charlotte 5K at Symphony Park benefiting the Go Jen Go Foundation, which funds patient assistance and family support for local breast cancer patients. It’s exactly the kind of race we love — a fast, friendly morning that gives back to the community we run through every week.
The 5K kicked off at 8:00 AM, followed by a Fun Run at 8:45 AM and an awards ceremony at 9:15. Beyond the race itself, the morning was a full community event: a Fun Zone for families, beverage stations, and a photo booth, all in a headphone-free environment built for connecting with the runners around you.
A race with a cause
Every registration helped Go Jen Go support survivors, thrivers, and fighters — survivors ran free in 2026 — and the first 500 5K finishers took home the year’s finisher medal.
Stride City on the day
We came out to run, walk, and cheer as a team, and to celebrate the progress we’ve built on our Wednesday night runs. Run Jen Run is a great reminder of why we lace up together: to move, to support one another, and to show up for our neighbors.
